Practical AI workshops for teams and directors

Give your people the AI skills to act.

One-day workshops that help sales and marketing teams use AI in everyday workflows, directors govern its use responsibly, and interdisciplinary teams turn business problems into AI-enabled solutions.

Understand what the tools can do. Practise on tasks that matter to your business. Leave with an approach you can start applying from day one.

Led by Dr Fabio Oliveira (PhD): sales and marketing practitioner, AI entrepreneur, and Lecturer in Entrepreneurship and Innovation at Henley Business School.

Turn AI awareness into workplace practice

Your people need to know where AI can help, how to use it, and when to question its output.

New Business Edu helps medium and large organisations build that knowledge through guided practice, business cases and discussion. Participants explore ways to reduce time spent on routine tasks, improve customer-facing and back-office workflows, and assess opportunities for innovation.

Each workshop connects AI capabilities to your team's responsibilities, priorities and working environment.

Why AI skills belong in your workforce plan

AI is changing the tasks inside existing roles. Skills England’s 2026 annual report cites an estimate that 70% of UK workers are in occupations containing tasks AI could perform or enhance. This concerns task exposure, rather than a prediction that 70% of jobs will disappear.

Adoption needs people who can use and question the tools.  The report identifies skills gaps and difficulty finding viable use cases as barriers to adoption. It highlights practical AI literacy: using tools, verifying outputs and integrating them safely into work.

Training needs to reflect responsibilities.  The AI Skills for the UK Workforce report identifies gaps in ethics, governance and interpretation, including in sectors where adoption is more advanced.

Leaders need practical understanding as well as oversight.  The accompanying framework combines technical, responsible and ethical, and non-technical skills. It expects managers and executives to retain core capabilities such as prompting and output evaluation alongside strategic responsibilities.

New Business Edu responds through practice for commercial teams, governance discussions for directors, and problem-led innovation for interdisciplinary groups.
